Job Description:

Looking to get into tech sales? Pliant is seeking the next generation of sales superstars for our business development program. You will hone your skills as a business development representative uncovering opportunities with prospects and customers. We will enable and develop your skills across technical selling, demand generation, sales operations, and of course technical acumen.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new prospects, predominantly over the phone, via email, and other communication tools
  • Serve as the first line of contact for new business leads
  • Build relationships with new prospects
  • Coordinate product demonstrations with our technical team for qualified leads
  • Celiver a Wow customer experience, always
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and communicate them to the leadership team
  • Maintain and develop a deep understanding of our products, solutions, and opportunities
  • Assist with tradeshow preparation, webinars, and any other initiatives spearheaded by sales

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a sales environment, preferably in software sales
  • A college degree in business, marketing, communications, phycology or a related field
  • Experience with cold calling
  • Experience with CRM and prospecting tools
  • Experience selling to business/enterprise customers
  • Possess confidence on the phone and good written skills
  • Exemplify proactive and self-starter attitude
  • Show a strong interest in technology and sales
